Not so waterproof after all
I purchased this watch because of the numerous features it has, it's purported toughness, and the reviews on amazon. Everything was great until a few days ago, when I wore the watch in the shower (supposed to be waterproof to 660 feet). I had worn it in the shower before with no problem, but this time, I noticed a little condensation under the face of the watch - and then it was dead. Very disappointed; it was less than 30 days old so at least I can get a refund. It was a really cute watch though - oh well. I'll keep looking around.
Not whar I was looking for
Looking at the picture I thought I would take a chance on this watch, but when I received it I realized it was not for me. I have small wrists and it looked very bulky also the numbers on the face are difficult to see. I ended up returning it!
Great Watch, Horrible Band
I bought this watch to wear while I worked in a restaurant kitchen. It was easy to read and had great timing features, plus it was waterproof. I loved the watch itslef. I had no problems until three months after I bought it. The pin of the clasp fell out and I lost it. I took it to a jewelers and they could not repair it without the pin. I exchanged it for a new one. The second one took 4 months to break at the clasp (same problem). I found the pin and was able to fix it. Three days later the pin at the watch (different spot) fell out and I lost it. I am hesistant to just replace the band for fear it will fall apart. The watch lived up to expectations but it is worthless because of the band.
wanna watch
Unless you have the perfect wrist size, you will need to have this band adjusted. It is a little heavier than expected
Good value for the price
Love the metal band on a sport watch. Buttons on side are just a bit hard to push. Some may think watch is a little large for a small woman.

Numbers too small to read, especially if the room is not well lit.
The numbers arre too small to read, especially in a room that is not well lit or if you are not in the sunlight. I thought that it would display the date constantly, which it does not. I cannot even find in the instruction book where it shows how to bring up the date. My Timex, though not an atomic watch, was much easier to read and gave you the time, date, day, seconds and automatically lit up at night. Price wise, it was about half the price of this watch.
Well featured but BIG
This Casio Baby G Atomic watch is remarably full featured. Literally, it is the only woman's watch I found with a perpetual date. I can't believe that the watch makers don't realize what a nuidance it is for ladies to have to adjust their watch every month when there are not 31 days. But, this watch is no "Baby". It is nearly the same size as my men's Citizen World Chronograph. It was simply too big for my wife's feminine wrist. She was too embarrassed to wear it as a teacher. If she were less concerned for that proportional issue, it might have been good. It is not too heavy, since it is made of tough plastic. We chose to send it back.

We are still looking for a waterproof watch with perpetual date that is of moderate size and good looking for a lady.
Big
This is a very big watch. BIG. Not only diameter-wise, but it's thick so it sits high off of the wrist. I like the look of it, and it seems like it would work really well (I'm sure it would, my husband has a man's version and has had it for years) but it was so enormous that I sent it back. If they made it half the size, or even just 2/3rds the size, I would LOVE to own one.
The real color is white
I was surprised when I open the box and saw the real color, which is white. The color in the picture is kind of blue but that is not true. I had thought to return the watch. Fortunately, it was for a gift and the recipient likes this color.
Casio Women's Baby G Atomic Timekeeping Watch
Beautiful and elegant....however, this watch has been a pain. The time keeping part gains time, can not set it where it needs to be and is just off and it really should be a much more accurate time piece. It made me so mad I ended up going to wal-mart and getting a darn Timex. I really wanted this watch....now I really would like my $$$ back or at least a different one that works right.

Don't buy! Casio doesn't honor waranty
I had this watch for 11 months when one of the buttons fell off. I returned it to Casio, thinking that they would honor the waranty, but NO! They wanted to charge me $40 to glue the button back on, and they wanted to charge me $7.95 just to return the watch to me broken! They gave me some lame excuse about why a button that is vital to the functioning to the watch is not covered under waranty, but the bottom line is: I provided the receipt and all of the info that they required but they said that the button is not part of the parts that is covered. BOGUS! Do not waste your money.
Watch is not the color that is pictured!!
I ordered this watch because I have a pink one and love it. I returned this watch because it is not the pretty turqoise blue that is pictured!! It was a dull, regular blue that I did not like at all. If you are ordering this watch because you love the color, watch out!! You may be as disappointed as I was.
This watch looks cheap for its price and quality
This watch only gets one star because I returned it. My husband has had a casio g-shock since the mid 80s and he has loved it and except for replacing the battery, it still works great! I usually buy a cheap watch every couple of years but decided to go for something more expensive. Upon viewing this baby G, I was not impressed. It has a cheap look to it and is too big for a woman (even though I am not small by any means!)
Too hard to set
I found the watch to difficult to set so I sent both watches back.
I give the watch 1 star for looks.
nice watch
I love this sports watch, it has all the neat functions I need:
world time: I travel across continents
water resistent 200 meter: no worry when rain, splash, swim etc.
shock resistent: like all good sports watch
and many more: memo, day counter, stop watch, alarm...

By the way, the picture doesn't show the true color, the real color is ligher, like a pale blue.

Women's Baby G watch
It is a nice watch BUT very difficult to adjust the time and date and the instructions are not very helpful!
To dream the "impossible watch, to go where your mind can't follow"
I received this watch in November and here it is almost the middle of Dec. and I still cannot get the correct time setting . I've tries to set the hour/min in digital and its just not happening. I'm not dumb woman at all....at least I didn't think so until this watch came along. I should have sent it back but I kept trying to find someone who could adjust it for me. Alas to no avail.
I don't understand why a watch manufacturer needs to have such complicated instructions. This watch is not a wonder of engineering so why so hard to set the time.
I would not advise anyone to buy this product. The ironic thing is that I've always been the "go to" person to figure something out, to "fix" something or just be the person you would go to with a problem. I know I'm older now but I didn't think all my brains left me.
Good watch but look closely
This is a good watch, it does everything you would want a watch to do and more. For some reason it's hard to find a womens watch that has an alarm, and even harder to find one with an alarm and be backlit. I have no idea why this is, you wouldn't have thought these things wouldn't fit on a smaller womens watch. This watch has a large face for a women's watch, I have an average size wrist and it looks pretty chunky on me. It is pretty deep too, I would say around 1cm thick at the face.

One thing to be careful about though is looking at the picture carefully. This strap is actually alternating white and steel links, not all steel as the description would suggest. G-shock unfortunately do not do a full steel version of this watch and I wish they did, the alternating white and steel is not a great look, and the white gets dirty really quickly (mine needed some bleach treatment after just 2 weeks normal wear), this includes the white on the bezel. Why anyone would want a white watch is beyond me, especially one like this that is obviously made for an outdoor type person.

I bought this thinking it was an all steel band and figuring I could deal with a white bezel, and although was really disappointed when it arrived, ended up keeping it was I was going away the next day and needed it. I now like the watch for it's features and will keep my eye out in case Casio does an all steel version of this, I could imagine it being pretty popular. It's a great watch for the price all the features work great, just please please get some designers in who design for the real world, rather than fashionistas....
Great looking, good functioning watch
I like white watches in general, and since this watch was white, but had alternating metal in between, it looked classy and useful in all kinds of occassions.

The watch is an Analogue + Digital watch, so you get the best of both. It is a baby-G, so it is very durable and highly functional with a stop watch, timer, and alarm. It also has a feature of having world times which was very useful when I traveled to other countries.

I love this watch overall and wear it virtually everyday, but there are a couple problems I have with it:

1. The digital portion of the watch is very hard to see. The digital portion is silver. White background on silver is not the best combination visually. You'll have to position the watch in a certain way to block out sunlight or glare, or you can't see the digital portion. Not a problem if you rely on the analogue portion, but you can't read the dates and seconds readily...

As a medical personnel, I needed a watch with a second hand. This watch does not have a second hand on the analogue part. You have to rely on the digital portion for the second hand. The problem is, you won't be able to see the second hand due to the problem noted above, as well as when the hour and minute hits 30 (or 6 in hours). The second window is right at the half-hour part.

Like I said, I would probably buy this watch again if it broke, and I recommend it to anybody that likes white sporty watches.
Good deal and service.
El producto llego en el plazo previsto y en excelentes condiciones, todo el proceso fue simple y sin ningun contratiempo.

Improvement over my last Timex
My Timex band fell apart, and the words on the face wore off, so I was looking for a new one. The band is harder, the features are great, and I am very pleased overall with this one so far! I've had it underwater with no problems. The colors are great, but not overwhelming. The only small complaint I have is that it is a little bigger than my last watch. I would like it to be slightly smaller, but again, love the features.
Baby-G Watch
Love this watch. Easy to program. The only drawback is that the watch bands where they connect to the actual watch itself don't open very wide so it says rather straigh down as opposed to opening wider for those with larger wrist. Other than that, I ware it every day and have gotten may compliments on it. Light works well in the dark. Would buy it again.
Great Watch
I had my hesitation to purchase when I saw the picture --- wondering about the plastice band. However, when I got the watch I was very pleasantly surprise. the band is a bit thick, but fits around your wrist very nicely, and has an enormous amount of holes in order for you to find that perfect fit. It also does not turn around your wrists and stay in place. I have small hands/wrists and this watch is a great fit. Looks exactly the same when it is in your hand as it does on the computer. Style, fit, ease of use,and of course the price, is the best I have found in a watch in this catagory. Very stylish. But, if you do not like pink might not be for you. Looks more expensive than what you pay for it. Can't imagine you would not enjoy this product. Enjoy.
It's a cute watch for teenage girls
I bought this for my younger sisters birthday and she likes it. It keeps good time and does everything it's suppose to do. If you have younger siblings or nieces or daughters this is a good buy.
My daughters Birthday
I bought this watch for my daughter and she is very active and has two boys. She loves the watch because she does't have to be carful with it and she also wears it swimming and has not had any problems with it.

She said she would recommend the watch. I was pleased with Amazon handling the Order.
