miyuki & kyojin answers: I own a Tissot, and I bought it in 1991, so I conscious it is good. Hamilton has a good reputation, so I would not hesitate to buy one if I saw any I needed or wanted. Just consider which has the look you like crush, and which is proper to wear the way you dress. One can always own both dress and sports watches, as I do. I wrote several books about watches. Tissot is swiss and founded in 1853. hamilton is american from the start but now swiss. These watches you mention here have ETA 2824 movements that can be made quite accurate with some work.
